And I loved Dru as much as I could love anyone back then. So I see this and I get pissed— drunk, and I go back to Sunnydale, figure, hey, if Dru thinks I'm so hung up on the slayer, I'll go back and kill her or something. But I didn't, I had a fun fight, finally felt like my head was on straight and decided I'd go and find Dru and torture her and everything would be right as rain again— [ He pauses, looks at Flint, holds a hand up. ] I don't do that anymore. The torture thing— I mean, not like that, I'll still torture bad people you know? If I have to. But I don't enjoy it.

[ Spike can also be found at differents time on different levels. He wears all black and has platinum blond hair and a British accent, so he's hard to miss. ]

I get that... surprisingly little, actually. But there's widespread bias against me.

Suppose the guilt wouldn't be as intense if it wasn't mine. Plus, it was a reward, I wanted my soul back, not a soul.

To be fair, the last vampire I met led with "I am hunger, I am thirst," so the bar isn't high.
